Because we are not tied to one manufacturer, we can stand a Caesarstone slab beside comparable options in the same light, on the same afternoon. Screens flatten colour. A small swatch tells you almost nothing about how veining will run across a three metre island.
We do not hold every Caesarstone colour. We would rather tell you that before you drive out here.
After the engineered stone ban took effect on 1 July 2024, Caesarstone rebuilt its Australian range around two surfaces. We supply and install both. Two questions usually settle which one you need, and we will ask you both.
Is any of it going outside?
Then it is Porcelain. Caesarstone lists Mineral as indoor only, so an alfresco kitchen or poolside bench rules it out on the spot.
Does your design have a waterfall end or mitred edge?
Then Mineral is usually the answer. Its pattern runs through the full thickness, so the veining carries around the corner. Porcelain holds its design on the surface, which means exposed edges need careful detailing. We do that detailing in-house, so raise it with us early and we will show you the difference on real slabs.
Past those two questions, both surfaces are non-porous, stain and scratch resistant, and need no sealing.
